The red dot award-winning Bitburger bottle
we designed emphasises the heritage of
the brewery and simultaneously highlights
contemporary advances and independence
in equal measures.
As the new single bottle establishes a
radically new formal vocabulary in the
beer segment, the graphic revision of the
product labelling (body and neck labels)
was appropriately evolutionary.
As is typical for beer brands, the
contemporary development of the design
was achieved by a sensitive revision of the
edging design, typography and logo.
We designed and realised an exclusive
‘Official DFB Fan Glass’ especially for the
World Cup in 2010 that was offered as a
promotional extra in the context of a
Bitburger beer sales promotion.
The glass symbolises the fascination
and excitement of this football event in an
unmistakable form. With this unique example
of design, Bitburger once again takes the
stage as a DFB partner and highlights their
positioning as an accessible premium brand.
The integration of the autographs of the
players of the national team on a matted
face lends the glass particular desirability –
and makes it a true bestseller.![]()
